“Yesterday, Governor Greg Abbott joined 20 Republican Governors demanding an end to vaccine mandates for U.S. Military service members.
In addition to announcing this partnership, Abbott said he expects legislation this session to ban all COVID vaccine mandates in Texas, a position long advocated for by Texans for Vaccine Choice.
TFVC Executive Director Christine Welborn said, “this, along with Abbott’s recent announcement protecting Texas students from mandates, is an important step in the right direction that is only possible due to continual work from activists.”

Continued pressure from the grassroots will be needed to ensure any passed legislation banning vaccine mandates is robust and extends beyond COVID shots.
As we’ve consistently said, TFVC refuses to rest until we’ve accomplished an aggressive medical liberty agenda, including an end to all vaccine mandates.
