Background
This battle began with Jennifer Bridges, a registered nurse working at the one of the community hospitals owned by Houston Methodist Healthcare System located in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. In their glory days, Methodist was the hospital in which Michael DeBakey pioneered coronary artery bypass surgery and artificial heart implantation. The healthcare ‘Goliath’ known for ‘Leading Medicine’ chose to further its reputation of ‘exceptionalism’ by terminating on June 22, 2021, all employees, physicians, and vendors working within their facilities refusing to participate in the Covid experimental drug trials. Multiple attempts were made with leadership to negotiate accommodation of approximately 16% of the 26,000 employees labeled initially as ‘vaccine hesitant’.
On or around April 27, 2021, an online petition was developed. Your signature would be appreciated.
Local Houston attorney Jared Woodfill with the Woodfill Law Firm PC accepted the case. Mr. Woodfill has contributed to the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Houston Chronicle, Austin American Statesman, Dallas Morning News and most major newspapers across the country. Television and radio credits include the O’Reilly Factor, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, BBC, NPR and he is a regular contributor to the local Fox 26 affiliate in the city of Houston, TX.
A GoFundMe was launched to fund the lawsuit. Every dollar will cover legal expenses related to preserving every healthcare provider’s “right to choose” in this difficult journey to the Supreme Court. This small group will ultimately represent all healthcare workers across this nation, as well as, every American in the struggle against the bureaucratic and medical tyranny spreading across this land.

This lawsuit has the potential to set precedence for every healthcare worker across this nation.
Currently, the rates of vaccination are low in healthcare workers. Mandatory vaccination may backfire further exacerbating the departure of healthcare workers world-wide.
